The Integrated Systems Architecture
$555.00
The Institute’s meta-framework for connecting identity, regulation, decision systems, authority, environmental influence, incentives, and capacity into a unified account of human functioning.
Description
Domain: Interdisciplinary Synthesis and Unified Human Behavior Modeling
The whole person cannot be understood through any single discipline. They must be mapped as a system.
No single discipline provides a complete account of human functioning. Psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, economics, and social science each illuminate part of the system while leaving other forces outside their frame. The Integrated Systems Architecture provides the interdisciplinary structure within which the Institute’s other frameworks are positioned and related.
The architecture examines how identity, regulation, decision systems, authority, incentives, context, pattern dynamics, time orientation, and capacity interact and reinforce one another. It treats a person as an integrated, self-organizing system whose behavior can be understood only by studying relationships among structural components rather than reducing behavior to one variable or discipline.
What this framework examines
- Cross-Disciplinary Integration: The synthesis of psychological, economic, neuroscientific, and philosophical accounts of behavior.
- Systemic Influence Patterns: How forces across domains compound, amplify, or counteract one another.
- Structural Awareness: The capacity to identify forces shaping perception, decision, and behavior from within the system.
- Unified Behavioral Modeling: Analytical models that account for complex human functioning without reducing it to one cause.
Research context
The architecture draws on systems theory, the biopsychosocial model, complexity science, interdisciplinary behavioral research, and general systems theory.
